Having your life and critical illness reviewed at no charge could really be a life saver!  It is a well-known fact that most of us spend more money on insuring our homes, phones and holidays than we do on ourselves. Not only is it important to insure ourselves for death in order that loved ones can be financially secure but with one in two people likely to be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lives, 103,000 people a year suffering from a heart attack and 150,000 suffering from a stroke, critical illness cover to most of us is a must!  Some providers (which our advisors have access to!) also have access to Best Doctors and Global Treatment cover at very little increase in premiums - from just £4 a month!  Global Treatment covers you and your eligible children, if diagnosed with a serious illness requiring medical procedures for cancer treatment, coronary artery bypass surgery, bone marrow transplant etc. with an expert second opinion, to if necessary, oversees consultants visits, hospitalisation  and surgery.  Global Treatment also pays for 3-4 star accommodation costs for you and your companion, and covers expenses for both parents (or a parent and a companion) if it's your child who is ill. A possible life saver for the cost of less than a gallon of petrol a month! Why it’s critical to consider the cover…   Don’t underestimate the chances of becoming seriously ill during your working life.  Serious illness often hits those in the middle of their careers, disrupting (or even ending) their ability to earn a salary. Insurer Aviva say the average age of a female claimant with its critical illness cover is 46, and for a man is 49.  Insurers now routinely honour more than 90% of all protection policy claims. This was not always the case.  Cover will not necessarily break the bank. The younger you are, the cheaper cover will be. £100,000 of combined life and critical illness cover for a 30 year-old non-smoker – and lasting 25 years – would cost £16.68 a month. The same cover for a 40 year-old would cost £33.79.
Have you got Best Doctors and Global Treatment cover for you and your children?

No amount of money can ever compensate for the loss of a loved one. However, whilst it cannot ease the pain, money from a life insurance policy can help with the financial difficulties that can often arise as a result. If you were to die tomorrow what would be the financial impact on your family? Do you believe your family will be able to cope financially? Who would pay your mortgage? How would your debts or household bills be paid? Taking out life insurance will not only provide peace of mind for you now, but also financial support for your loved ones when it’s needed most.
Why is Life Insurance important?
Critical Illness can unfortunately strike at any time and the cover is designed to help protect against unpredictable events that are often out of your own control. Wouldn’t it be nice to know there was a financial cushion to fall back on if critical illness occurred? The policy could make life that little bit easier and allow you to concentrate on getting better. It is worth getting a review of your existing policies to establish if most illnesses are covered.                            Critical Illness policies differ greatly!
